These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the School Transport Services (“STS”, “we”, “us”) website and mobile applications (together, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Use of the Services
The Services connect parents and guardians with registered drivers and carpooling options for the safe transportation of students. You agree to provide accurate information during booking and registration, to use the Services only for lawful purposes, and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services.
2. Accounts and Eligibility
Certain features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Bookings on behalf of a child must be made by a parent, guardian, or other authorized adult.
3. Bookings, Fares and Payments
Estimated fares shown in the app are based on distance and the selected service and are intended to closely reflect the final charge. We aim to keep pricing transparent with no hidden costs; however, final fares may vary with route changes, waiting time, or trip modifications. Payments are processed through the methods made available in the app.
4. Cancellations
Bookings may be cancelled in accordance with the cancellation options provided in the app. Cancellation charges, where applicable, will be displayed before you confirm.
5. Safety and Conduct
Student safety is central to our Services. Drivers are subject to a registration and approval process, and trips may be tracked in real time with pickup, drop-off, geofencing and over-speeding alerts. Users agree to behave respectfully and to follow all applicable safety guidelines and local laws during a trip.
6. Driver and Carpool Partners
Private cab owners and carpooling parents who list on the platform are responsible for holding all valid licenses, permits and insurance required by law, and for operating their vehicles safely. STS facilitates connections between users and partners and is not the provider of the transportation itself.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, STS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos and software associated with the Services are owned by or licensed to STS and may not be copied or used without prior written permission.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use information.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
